Stump Removal

Stump removal is sometimes known as 'stump grinding' as a stump is removed by grinding it down. Even the biggest stump can be reduced to wood chippings in a very short time using the best machinery. Our equipment is the very best available for this work. Our largest machine is remote control and has rubber tracks (like a digger!) to preserve your driveway or lawn. It is only 70cm wide but it is 2.5m long. We also have a smaller machine for less demanding stumps.

When we remove a stump we will always remove the wood several inches below ground level to curtail sprouting. Roots can also be removed but please advise us if required.

Our equipment allows us to handle any size of stump grinding from a single leylandii stump removal to multiple very large stumps for, say, a new golf course.

Tree stumps are ground into chippings which are then raked back into the hole caused by removing the stump.We will bag up any excess chippings for you to use as mulch. We will always do our best to minimise enviromental disturbance.
